Just returned from our very first camping trip to Botswana and Namibia. Thank you, Johan and Annette, for giving us an unforgettable experience, I know that the entire tour group had a fantastic time thanks to your planning. We can’t wait to do another tour with you.

Beste Johan en Annette. Ons kan nie genoeg dankie sê vir die voorreg wat jul ons bied om saam met jul te toer nie. Die respek en vertoue wat jul by ons gekweek het sal altyd kosbaar bly. Hiermee ons toer oorsig: Moremi – Chobe Toer Pinnacle 9 Tours het weereens bo alle verwagting ‘n uitstekende- en goed georganiseerde toer aangebied gedurende Oktober 2022. Johan en Anette se alom teenwoordigheid met raad en hulp is merkwaardig. Hul kommunikasie met ons as toergangers was stiptelik, absoluut volledig en geloofwaardig. Die liefde wat hul uitstraal na hul toergangers wek net vertroue in hulle as leiers. Persoonlik was die toer die mees opvoedkundige toer of kamp ervaring wat ons nog beleef het. Die uitdagings tussen jou en jou voertuig- sleepwa met die pad toestande was en is die hoogtepunt van ons toer. Tweedens, die belangrikheid van korrekte logistieke beplanning vir voedsel, water en brandstof in vêr afgeleë plekke is noodsaaklik. In beide hierdie uitdagings moet melding gemaak word van Johan en Anette se absolute volledige en korrekte reisplan Brosjure. Laastens maar nie die minste nie, die groep mense wat ons ontmoet het met uiteenlooflike lewens ervaring, het goeie vriendskappe gesmee. Ons sal aanhou om Pinnacle 9 Tours te bemark en aan te beveel. Johan en Annette het ons geleer om vir Botswana en Namibië lief te raak, hulle het ons geleer hoe om te toer, hoe om die natuur en die stilte te waardeer en ons het al 3 toere saam met Pinnacle 9 Toere gedoen en elkeen was ongelooflik goed beplan. Doen jouself ‘n guns, en kom toer saam eendag

A most amazing trip, it was such a pleasant time and everybody were always on time. We were a bit worried as we never did a trip with so many people but now we can say we enjoyed every minute. A trip to remember and to do again. Thanks a million Johan and Annette for your top organisation, your patience with us and all the time we spend together. Personal highlights were the sand roads, its was very challenging but great fun and the campsites were very well chosen. You two, the fun we had with stories and jokes, the ambiance and the excellent food we got from John. Thanks for everything.

We wanted to do this tour so that we could see where we would go on our own in the future. The tour met all our expectations, the itinerary was perfect and we would go back to all the camp except maybe Linyanti. It was a great mix of people on tour which made a great atmosphere. Personal highlights were Savuti and it’s magical variation of land, from grasslands to trees to Baobabs to waterholes. Fishing on the Chobe was a dream ticked off and crossing the Khwai will never be forgotten. Definitely will go back. Congratulations Johan and Annette for yet another amazing and well organized tour.

Just returned from our trip to Botswana and Namibia, albeit 3 days earlier due to lockdown in SA. Despite us not being able to finish our trip we thorougly enjoyed it. Johan and Anette are perfect hosts, professional and very competent tour leaders and left no stone unturned to make our trip one that we will always have wonderful and fond memories of. We saw amazing sites, made good friends and had lots of fun and laughter. Thanks to all in our group. Here’s days we will always remember and friends we will never forget!

Die toer was goed georganiseer en ons het geweldig baie geleer in ‘n kort tyd. Baie dankie vir julle hulp, vriendelikheid, gasvreiheid, raad en gerustellings(wanneer Issebel gepanic het). Ons persoonlike hoogtepunte is beslis die vriendskappe was ons gesmee het, die hulp en vriendelikheid van die groep. Die oorwinning oor die sandpaaie staan ook uit want ons het nie geding ons sal dit maak nie. Die laaste aand by Chobe was uitsonderlik, die bootrit, die ete en prysuitdeling was uitsonderlik en iets besonders. Danie Johan en Annette, ons sal graag weer saam met julle toer.

Johan and Annette were very helpful with all matters before and during the tour and they went out of their way to assist us. It was well organized and it was a privilege and pleasure to be part of the Moremi Chobe tour. The off road sand conditions were much more challenging than expected and we really learned a lot off road and sand driving skills and we are now much the wiser for this. We will definitely recommend Pinnacle 9 tours and we will definitely join them on their other tours, it was a bucket list adventure we can now tick. Personal highlights were the Sundowner cruise on the Chobe, meeting and talking to likeminded people that share a common love for camping, this was an exceptional group of people with a diverse skill base and willing to help anyone who needed help.
